I have always wondered, how do people in the wedding biz – the photographers, the videographers, the event organizers – get married? Do they live up to the wedding-glam they are associated with? Do they live up to the hype (and I’m sure there are A LOT) they have so many times witnessed through their clients? Or do they do it low-key just like any other couple getting married?
Shot in San Francisco, The Wedding Planner is about Mary Fiore (Jennifer Lopez), a top notch, crème de la crème wedding planner who every bride wants in her wedding. She’s the most sought after wedding fairy godmother who has added pizzazz in every wedding she’s organized, has witnessed – and calmed down – a number of panicking brides (and a couple of father of the brides as well!), solved last minute wedding problems, all with precision and C-L-A-S-S. She’s practically breathing a romance-clad air all the time, so when she finally decides to get married (or does she?! If you haven’t watched this yet, go watch the movie to find out! Don’t want to be a spoiler!), you can’t help but ask, “what will a top notch wedding planner’s wedding be like???”

Ask no more, cherries, this may come as a surprise and unexpected but it’s got to be the simplest, most heartfelt, intimate wedding you could think of…
Think a quiet sit-down dinner for a few guests, pristine and crisp tablescapes, minimal decor and details. It is a wedding of quiet elegance, a perfect ambiance for a serene and intimate celebration. This is a wedding that is chic, classy and elegant – because weddings do not need to be ostentatious to be memorable, it just needs be heartfelt. Here my cherries, is the The Wedding Planner inspired wedding theme:
