I’m sure you love surprises like I do! Pre-wedding photo shoots are almost the norm these days, but what makes this one extra special is that, the bride-to-be Cresel had zero idea that Roger will be making his surprise “formal” proposal to her!
Roger graduated from the Philippine Military Academy, thus the Military theme of the shoot — but no amount of toughness could prevent him from preparing this engagement shoot for his darling Cresel. From talking and collaborating with the suppliers down to getting the flowers, balloons and of course, the RING, ready — Roger made sure all are in place before formally asking Cresel for her sweet “yes!”.
Ela Yu of Ideas Etc styled and coordinated this special e-sesh and she shares what went on that one sweet day:
“The theme of the engagement session was fairy tale, romantic, rustic and military type of shoot. Fairy tale because, the bride believes that she will be marrying his Prince Charming and their love story is a perfect example of a romantic fairy tale. Military because the groom graduated from the Philippine Military Academy.
The engagement session took place at La Mesa Eco Park Quezon City last July 12, 2016. What made it special was, the bride has no idea that in the middle of the shoot the groom will have his formal proposal. He had not yet formally proposed to the bride and he himself talked to the suppliers, photographers, videographer and coordinators of what will happen in the middle of the shoot. He made sure there are flowers, balloons and of course the “ring”. Good thing, nature cooperated and all the plans were executed exactly as discussed. It was an emotional, heartwarming proposal and all of us suppliers, were very happy and teary-eyed as the groom asked his bride to be (again) to marry him. The groom, being manly and all, showed his soft and caring side to his wife-to-be by preparing this kind of engagement session and it was beautifully captured by Ruffa and Mike Photography.
The prenuptial styling was c/o Ela Yu of Ideas Etc, with the help of the DIY’s prepared by the bride.”
So much love for this engagement! Great thing Ruffa and Mike Photography was there to capture it all! Enjoy the photos!
