Movie Monday: The Greatest Showman

The Greatest Showman is my newest favorite movie, hands down. And don’t let me begin talking about its soundtrack. I think I’ve played it on repeat for like 20 times or more… I am enthralled! The film’s dance choreography? Spectacular! This musical’s over-all vibe? Magical! It is just fitting for The Greatest Showman to land a special spot on today’s Movie Monday. It just has to be here.

Because the movie reminds us of all things circus, I’m sure you are expecting to see a movie wedding inspiration from this as something quirky and vibrant. Sure, I get that. But rather than highlighting the bold and the bravado of a cirque, I’ve decided to focus on the soft, ethereal feel of the film.

Soothing as the Swedish Nightingale’s voice, the movie wedding inspiration I am about to give you brings about the romantic vibe that you need in a wedding + the whimsical yet still classy touches of the circus. Think of floral hoops and wreaths to remind you of aerial rings they use in trapeze acts; circus animals in metallic gold paint as tabletop decorations; big, bold and vibrant bridal bouquet; and gold spun cotton candy to be served in the dessert bar.

Feel the magic of the greatest show ever and let its inspiration dazzle its way onto your wedding! Have a great Monday, cherries!
