There are lots of gorgeous wedding spots here in the Philippines but Batanes is just a cut above the rest. With its unmistakable charm and magic, Batanes sweeps you off your feet and makes you fall helplessly in love with it. The place is beyond beautiful — the hands of God working wonderfully in every mountain curve your eyes can see, in every grass blade that touches your feet, in every breath of its clean, crisp air. It’s no surprise that couple Ian and Shy decided to join hearts in this breathtakingly romantic and magical place.

Ian and Shy’s love story took 15 wonderful years to make. They got engaged 5 years ago, until recently, they finally decided to get married in Batanes. It only took less than 3 months of careful, meticulous wedding planning and everything was set! The couple invited 33 of their family and closest friends to celebrate their union and have a fun-filled, relaxing day with them.

The bride Shy even had the greatest surprise of the day when she invited singer Johnoy Danao, Ian’s favorite, to be their wedding singer. Ian was heartbroken thinking that Johnoy was already booked on their wedding day and couldn’t get him. But surprise! It was Shy who booked him for the day! Everyone got to their groove and danced the night away! Oh. That special moment when you dance with your one true love under the stars — another piece of forever etched in your memory.
