Getting married in a tropical paradise surrounded by 67 of your closest family and friends, what’s not to love? Couple Ryan and Kelly loved the water so much they decided to travel back to Kelly’s hometown of Palm Cove and there celebrate their love in the most intimate, personal way.
The bride Kelly lovingly planned her wedding to the smallest deet but a night before their big day, dark clouds started rolling in. Yet, no bad weather can ruin it for Kelly because she knew in her heart what matters most and that’s marrying the man she adores. She shares, “From a proposal on a tropical island under the white cabana, surrounded by candles for a private beach dinner, to the planning of my dream wedding, I knew I was going to be marrying the most amazing guy in the world.”
It was truly a love-filled day as the groom Ryan had something in store for her bride. Kelly explains, “My husband – who had broken his leg three months prior in a jet ski accident – surprised me by singing me a song because he couldn’t dance with me. It was so romantic.”
I believe that weddings are family affairs and it’s made even more heartwarming when family gets involved in the celebration. No wonder, Kelly’s favorite moment of the day was when her little brother sang as she walked down the aisle. “Having my little brother sing as I walked down the aisle was a highlight for me.”
You can just see how magical and special the day was through the lovely snaps of their photographer, Matther Evans.
Get ready to be treated to some serious tropical goodness, cherries! Here are the rest of the photos. Enjoy!
