There’s something about getting married at the crack of dawn that makes it all poetic. Witnessing the first light of day together symbolizes the couple’s fresh, new start as man and wife… It’s all about new beginnings — beautiful beginnings. Seeing that first ray of sunshine reminds you of hope and of love and there’s nothing more meaningful than being reminded of those on your wedding day.
Couple Richard and Princess decided to have a morning wedding and I couldn’t be more thrilled! The bride knew what she wanted and ended up having a classy early morning affair with sleek dressed guests and tons of happy faces to boot. Princess was truly regal in her gold, ruffled gown by Gil Macaibay III — which I think was truly divine! And her black and gold bouquet was to-die-for!
One Happy Story was there to document this lovely dawn wedding and here’s what they have to say about that oh-so-beautiful day…
“We were kind of anxious knowing the weather the day prior was not cooperating. So to make sure that we got the perfect shots, we took photos of their wedding essentials a day prior so that it will be less stressful during the bridal preparations by trying to squeeze in the portraits and other photo responsibilities we have to take. That is the tricky part when having a sunrise wedding. We only have a very minimal time to do the shots as we have to be at the ceremony location around 4:30 in the morning. Most of us were a little bit sleep deprived, but when the ceremony started, we were inspired. Everything went perfect, the weather, the bridal walk, the sun rising perfectly during the recessional.
When we learned how Roy and Princess met each other, it surely was a fairy tale that came to life… How Roy really went out in all odds to get his princess.
We were also treated with a very beautiful set up by Sweet Piece during the reception. With only close friends and families on their guest list, the whole ambiance was very warm, filled with laughter and just people enjoying the special occasion.”
